Dehydration can leave you feeling sluggish and drained. The Hydration Drip is our most straightforward and cost-effective solution to restore your body's fluid balance.
“I got an IV infusion from A&M IV Co. and it was such a great experience. The Nurse Practitioner came right to my home and was super professional the whole time. I felt so much better within an hour. I had more energy and overall refreshed. The booking process was easy and they were right on time. Definitely recommending to everyone I know!”
Yes. The Hydration Drip from A&M IV Co. is a $149 mobile IV: one liter of sterile IV fluid with electrolytes, the same base every other drip on the menu is built on, and nothing else, no vitamins and no symptom medicine. A Nurse Practitioner reviews your intake before the visit, a licensed nurse places the line at your home, hotel or rental across the Nashville area, and the infusion runs about 60 minutes. It is for an adult who knows why they are behind on fluids, can still drink, and has nothing else going on: a hot day of yard work, a long run, a night out without much nausea, a stomach bug that has settled enough to sip. If you have heart failure, kidney disease or a fluid restriction, or you are 60 or older, say so at booking: the volume may be smaller or the answer may be no. Confusion, fainting, no urination for many hours, or vomiting that will not stop is emergency care, not a drip.
At A&M IV Co. the Hydration Drip is $149, with no insurance billing, delivered to your home, hotel or rental in the Nashville area by a licensed nurse after a Nurse Practitioner reviews your intake. That covers the visit, the setup, one liter of IV fluid with electrolytes, and the infusion, which runs about 60 minutes. Travel is included across most of our service area. If your address is farther out, the exact amount is shown before you pay. Nausea relief or pain relief can be requested as $20 add-ons, each a prescription medicine your Nurse Practitioner reviews before it is given. There is no membership and nothing renews. If the nurse declines the visit on arrival for safety, the drip is not charged and a $50 travel and assessment fee is retained. It is for the person who wants the liter of fluid and the electrolytes without paying for vitamins they did not ask for. Book online at amivco.com or text (615) 592-6529.
For mild dehydration, no: drinking works and is what to do first. The Hydration Drip, $149 at A&M IV Co. in Nashville, is one liter of IV fluid with electrolytes put straight into a vein, so it does not depend on a stomach that is unsettled or slow to absorb, and the full liter is delivered during the roughly 60-minute infusion. It fits an adult whose gut is not cooperating, who is well behind after a long day in the heat, or who is behind on fluids but can still drink, for a reason they already understand. An IV is elective wellness care and not a substitute for emergency care: confusion, fainting, very little or no urination for many hours, a racing heart at rest, or vomiting that will not stop means the emergency room, not a home visit.

The base fluid that carries every other ingredient straight into the bloodstream. Typically an isotonic crystalloid like Normal Saline or Lactated Ringer's, matched to your physiology so it absorbs without diluting the body's own chemistry. IV delivery bypasses the stomach entirely, so the fluid is in circulation as the bag runs rather than after the hour or two an oral drink takes to absorb.
